6 Nights 7 Days Andaman Tour Package Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Port Blair - Corbyn's Cove Beach + Light & Sound Show

Our representative will receive you at Veer Saverkar Airport, Port Blair and will escort to the hotel, he will also assist you to do hotel check-in formalities. Late afternoon proceed to Corbyn's Cove Beach – a serene beach set in picturesque backgrounds of lush green coconut palms and pleasant sea. Later, witness the Light and Sound show at Cellular Jail – the saga of countless martyrs of the Indian independence struggle. The show conducted in the premises of Cellular Jail, gives us a brief idea about the happenings in the jail prior to India's independence. Overnight at the Hotel. Note: In case Light and Sound show at Cellular Jail is called-off due to weather and maintenance conditions, efforts will be made to arrange for alternate sightseeing and also to arrange for the show at some other time during the itinerary, only if time permits.

Day 2: Port Blair - North Bay Island & Ross Island

After early breakfast in the hotel, depart at 0900 from Water Sports complex in a boat to see underwater marine life and varieties of corals at North Bay (Snorkeling and Glass Bottom at extra cost). After North Bay, proceed to Ross Island (Closed on Wednesday). Once the administrative headquarters of the British and capital of these Islands, the island is now under the Indian Navy. It stands now as a ruin of the bygone days with the old structures almost in debris. There is a small museum named 'Smritika', it holds photographs and the other antiques of the Britishers relevant to these islands. The island is famous for friendly flocks of deer and lush green walking trails. Shopping - In the evening, we proceed to Sagarika (the Govt. Emporium of Handcraft) and local market for shopping. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 3: Port Blair – Havelock (Radhanagar Beach) + kalapatar

Early morning departure by Govt. ferry / Private Cruise to Havelock Island – (It is 38kms by sea from Port Blair. it takes 2 ½ hours) On arrival at Havelock Island, proceed to your hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed for a visit to Radhanagar beach. Radhanagar Beach (or Beach No. 7) is the jewel in the crown of Havelock Island. Located on the western side of the island. The glorious white sand beach shot to global fame when Time magazine (in 2004) rated it as the finest in Asia. A wide beach that runs over a few kilometers, Radhanagar beach is simply stunning. KALAPATTHAR BEACH is situated at a corner of Havelock Island. The name Kalapatthar is derived from the village to which it is attached. Surrounded with dense tropical rainforest and the blue ocean, this place is ideal to experience solitude. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4: Havelock Island - (Elephanta Beach) - Neil Island

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and keep the luggage in the luggage room and we sail forElephant Beach by sharing boat. The travel time is around 45 minutes to reach Elephant Beach. This beach has one of the best coral reefs in the world & the underwater marine life is very lively & colorful. ELEPHANT BEACH is an ideal place sought by most for snorkeling. It offers a wide range of marine life to experience and marvel at. For all seeking adventure and thrill, water sports facilities are easily available at the beach. The beach is good for leisure walks, empathizing with self and also for those desiring some light-hearted fun at the beach. After coming back from Elephant beach we will go to hotel and take the luggage and transfer to the jetty to board the Govt. ferry/ Private ferry to Neil Island. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel in Neil Island and check-in after that sightseeing start and over night stay in the hotel. Note: All hotels on Havelock Island have an early morning check out time and late checkout is provided at the discretion of the hotel management.

Day 5: BHARATPUR BEACH, LAXMANPUR BEACH, SITAPUR BEACH, NATURAL ROCK FORMATIONS- Port blair

after having breakfast we will start the tour from the famous beach i.e, BHARATPUR BEACH with its sprawling stretch of sand and greenery that overlooks a vast expanse of the blue sea is rightly proclaimed the finest and most spectacular beaches of Neil Island. It attracts a number of tourists throughout the year. Beautiful coral reefs, variety of aquatic creatures and the vibrant natural beauty combines to make the visit a fascinating and memorable experience. LAXMANPUR BEACH is a picturesque waterfront, covering a long stretch of Laxmanpur village. It has clear, warm and blue turquoise water with endless white beaches striking a marvelous contrast. Corals and sea shells are found in abundance at the seafront. The beach, also known as sunset Beach, is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. SITAPUR BEACH situated at the tip of the Neil Island takes great pride in its serene and quit seafront. It has a seemingly endless stretch of white sand rendering it a hypnotic and spellbinding natural beauty. An ideal place to visit at dawn as the sun rises above the horizon, reflecting the same in the waters. Sitapur beach is also referred to as the sunrise Beach of Neil Island. NATURAL ROCK FORMATIONS are one of the captivating sights in the Neil Island, and it is so not just because of its gigantic size. Best time to enjoy these rocks formations is during low tide as the sea retreats, giving you plentiful visual access to these beautiful and natural rocks. The rock formation is locally known as Howrah Bridge, named so by the erstwhile Bengali settlers to as ‘Chhota’ Neil (small Neil), it has wildlife sanctuary and a turtle – nesting ground. we will go to hotel and take the luggage and transfer to the jetty to board the Govt. ferry/ Private ferry to Port blair. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel in Port blair and check-in and over night stay in the hotel. Day 6: City Tour, CHIDIYATAPU: BIOLOGICAL PARK &BEACH,

SAMUDRIKA MUSEUM (Timing: 09:00 am- 12:00 noon, 01:30 pm- 05:00 pm) The term ‘Samudrika’ [‘of the Ocean ‘] clearly indicates that the museum houses a wide variety of exhibits covering the islands’ tribal communities, marine life, ecosystem and plants. The museum is located at Delanipur, Port Blair and is maintained by the Indian Navy. This museum is meant to create awareness on various aspects of oceanic environment and has a good collection of shells, corals and a few species of colorful fishes found in these islands. Samudrika museum houses around 350 species of marine life, including the skeleton of a Blue Whale. ANTHROPOLOGICAL MUSEUM (Timing: 09:00 am- 12:00 noon, 01:30 pm- 04:30 pm) Located at Middle Point, it undisputedly is Port Blair’s finest; the Anthropological Museum maintained by the Anthropological Survey of India (ASI) provides an insight to the indigenous tribal communities inhabiting the island and has a marvelous collection of photographs of the tribal community. Their varied bows & arrows, handicraft and items used by them in their day to day lives. It depicts the life of the Paleolithic Islanders. FISHERIES AQUARIUM (Timing: 09:00 am- 12:00 noon, 02:00 pm- 04:45 pm) The Andaman Fisheries Aquarium located at the Waters Sports Complex, near Marina Park at Port Blair, houses over 350 varieties of Marine life. It exhibits specie of marine life peculiar to the islands and found in the Indo-Pacific and the Bay of Bengal. It is a must visit for people interested in the under-sea life. SCIENCE CENTRE (Timing: 09:00 am- 05:00 pm) Located about 05 kilometers from the Port Blair city, on the top of a hill facing the fascinating ocean, the science centre houses a Tara Mandal (Planetarium), Andaman & Nicobar Gallery, fun Science for children and a well maintained park. At this centre, visitors can gain knowledge on science of oceans while creating waves of different parameters. It is also is a storehouse of variety of birds and butterflies in their natural habits. SAGARIKA EMPORIUM (Timing: 09:00 am- 12:00 noon, 01:30 pm- 05:00 pm) Recommended outlet to buy souvenirs comprising of traditional handicraft like wood carvings, coconut lamp shades, sea shell murals, tribal artefacts (replicas), shell jewellery , small furniture, t-shirts of Andaman etc. The emporium is managed by the cottage & small scale industries department under A & N Administration and remains the best place to shop for authentic stuff in Port Blair, without the fear for being cheated. CHIDIYATAPU: BIOLOGICAL PARK &BEACH As home to more than 46 species of endemic birds, it is an ideal destination for all bird lovers. Bird watchers do have an option to hire the assistance of the few experts in this field who are available in Andaman’s. The Chidiyatapu Biological Park is on the way to the beach; a great place for birdwatchers to observe various species of birds such as emerald Dove, Red Breasted parakeets, Drogues among others. The beach at Chidiyatapu is known as sunset point and is accepted as one of the best places in the islands to enjoy sunset.
