Excursion to Ross Island and North Bay Island (Coral Island): THE INDIAN MUTINY On the next day After having breakfast, the voyage begins in a boat towards Ross Island, (First Administrative Settlement of British in Andaman) the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British rule. The island is presently with houses, the ruins of old buildings like Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, etc. And all in dilapidated condition. Then in the same boat trip to North Bay (coral Island) where you can see corals reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life through glass bottom boat ride. Optional activities are also available like Swimming, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Sea Walk, Glass Bottom Ride, Submarine Ride etc. The light house seen at the back of a 20 Rupee Note is located at North Bay Island. After Breakfast, visit Elephanta Beach. Elephant Beach is untouched by commercialism and boasts of an environment that exudes a peaceful ambience. Popular for snorkeling, Elephant Beach boasts of some of the vibrant coral reefs on the island. Situated at one remote corne of Havelock Island. One has to either take a boat or follow a steep but a short trek to reach Elephant Beach that is renowned not only for its pristine beauty but also for its serene environs. And Do Snorkeling :) On the same day after having lunch visit to Kalaphatar Beach. Kalaphatar beach is a relatively small yet lovely beach. Silvery sand and aqua green waters make the place exotic and exquisite. The beach, honestly is nowhere close to Radha Nagar beach but nevertheless it is a beautiful place to visit. Sadly, there are no eco huts or shade with benches to sit so the best idea is to carry a hammock, tie it around a tree on the beach, lay down in the hammock and enjoy the view. Ferry to Neil Island: Visit Laxmanpur Beach, Sitapur Beach & Bharatpur Beach. Havelock Island to Neil Island.
