Kausani Tour Packages Itinerary

Kausani, a scenic hill station located in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand, India, is widely renowned for its breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi, and Panchachuli. At approximately 1890 meters above sea level, this tranquil destination offers a picturesque setting of lush valleys and coniferous forests. This unspoiled beauty of nature is often compared to the landscapes of Switzerland. Mahatma Gandhi once stayed here and called it the 'Switzerland of India', due to its resemblance with the Alpine scenery. Kausani is also the birthplace of famed Hindi poet Sumitranandan Pant, and one can visit his museum called Pant Museum. The Anashakti Ashram serves as a quiet and peaceful retreat for visitors, with Gandhi's writings and photographs on exhibit. Buddhist Stupa and Baijnath Temple are other attractions among many. The serenity of this place provides a perfect backdrop for writers and nature lovers who seek inspiration and peace. Small but beautiful, Kausani offers a delightful escape from the hustle of city life and a chance to witness the golden sunrise over the Himalayas.
