5 Nights 6 Days North-East Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: DAY 1
Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri), you will meet our representatives, who will further transfer you to a hotel in Gangtok. The evening will be free for leisure. Also, you can indulge in some shopping and pick some handicrafts, handlooms, and souvenir. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: DAY 2
Dig into early morning breakfast and go for a sightseeing tour. As per your itinerary, today you will be visiting Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Dinner and overnight stay at Gangtok hotel.
Day 3: DAY 3
After a sumptuous breakfast visit Changu Lake, Nathula Pass, Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok. (If due to landslide or bad road condition Tsomgo Lake is closed then alternate sightseeing will be provided)
Day 4: DAY 4
After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachen (8,500 ft.), North Sikkim. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachen check into your hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 5: DAY 5
Post breakfast morning excursion to Yumthang (Valley of Flowers) at 1200ft. It is a summer grazing ground of Yaks and winter playgrounds of Yetis. Transfer Back to Gangtok. Check in at your hotel and afternoon free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Gangtok. Optional Katto or Zero Point (Alt 15750Ft / 4725M) for Indian tourists only– From Yumthang Valley you can drive for another 30kms in 1.5hr to Yumesamdong or Zero Point close to Tibet Border (at an extra cost).
Day 6: DAY 6
Morning will be free for packing & personal activities. Post breakfast, Check out and embark on a drive from the hotel to reach Airport/Railway station (Siliguri) will mark the end of the tour.
