Arrive at Delhi Airport / Railway Station our driver will pick you from Delhi Airport/ Railway station than straight drive to Shimla. Its 08 hours journey but depend upon the traffic & weather conditions. On your arrival check in at hotel. Shimla derives its name from Shyamala Devi, an incarnation of the goddess Kali, whose temple existed in the dense forest covering the Jakhu Hill in the early 19th century. Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and was also the summer capital in pre-Independence India. Covering an area of 25 sq km at a height of 7,238 ft, Shimla is surrounded by pine, deodar and oak forests. Today morning after an early breakfast, visit Kufri. Kufri derives its name from 'Kufr' which means lake. The salubrious climate and stunning natural beauty makes Kufri a perfect holiday getaway. Kufri is also a heaven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is situated on the outskirts of the town. The Park is home to over 180 varieties of fauna. After your visit to Kufri, you may visit and experience fun amusement park in Kufri which is famous for rides and more with Himachal’s first advanced amusement park surrounded with great hiking, skiing, beautiful scenes and loads of adventure. The amusement parks are famous for many adventurous rides as well as for some of the best views of snow kept peaks of the Himalayas. After breakfast will do excursion to Chail. Chail is in Shimla. Located at the foothills of Indian Himalayan hill, Chail is one of the most beautiful hill stations in India. Chail was built as a Summer Capital by Maharaja of Patiala Bhupinder Singh when he was exiled from Shimla by British Lord Kitchener. It is located at a height of 2250 meters above the sea-level, and located just 45 km away from Shimla. Surrounded with thick deodars and at higher altitude, Chail is the perfect choice for any tourist to visit. Maharaja's Palace :This was the residence of the Maharaja and is till date maintained like that. The site happens to be a major attraction with its antique architectural look coupled with log huts, children's park, lawns, etc. for the visitors on Chail tour. Chail Cricket Ground: Encircled by enormous deodar, Chail Cricket Ground is the highest cricket ground in the world. Built in the year 1893, this ground is also used as polo ground, located at the height of around 2,144m. It rests 7500 feet above sea level and is known as one of the famous cricket stadiums in India. Set in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India, this cricket ground is in the scenic hill station of Chail. Visitors can relish a splendid view of Sutlej Valley, Shimla and Kasauli atnight from here. This ground is also used as the school playground by Chail Military School. There is a well maintained basket ball court and the same cricket ground also has goal posts that is used for playing football. Kali ka Tibba, Chail :Situated at the top of a hill, Kali Ka Tibba is a popular must see place in Chail. The main deity of the temple is Kali Devi who attracts a lot of pilgrims and tourists from all across the world. You may enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Choor Chandni and Shivalik Range from the temple. Evening Return back to your hotel for overnight stay.
