The waterfall is small yet very beautiful. If you want to have a better view of the waterfall, you can trek for up the hill for ten minutes and get a much clear view of it. The local villagers are very helpful, you can also get a chance to savour hand picked fresh fruits from the orchards. There is a small shop ( bang on the lower side of waterfall). Actually it encomposes lower portion where the water from the fall crosses the road. One can taste home cooked food of the villagers. The food includes Rajma, Kadhi, Red Rice, Chutni and a local dish called 'SIDDHU'. The normal tea they serve here also tasts very nice

Manikaran is surrounded by the Harinder Mountains and the prime attraction of the town is its hot springs that are located in and around Manikaran. Manikaran is a well known pilgrim center with the Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara Ram chandra & Shivaji temples. A dip in the hot springs here are considered to be spiritually cleansing.
