Panchpula means 'five bridges,' and it is where several streams converge into one. One of the main attractions here is a monument built in memory of Sardar Ajit Singh, one of the great freedom fighters of India. The streams that flow through Panchpula are said to originate from the northern side of Dain Kund, a peak in Dalhousie blessed with abundant natural beauty.
