Dainkund Peak Tourism

Dainkund Peak, stationed at a height of 2755 meters above sea level, is the highest mount in Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh. It offers panoramic views of the entire valley and the world below. The Indian Air Force has a base near the peak, and there is a Pholani Devi Temple at the summit, which is a unique attribute to the place. Visitors are greeted with a tranquil atmosphere and can often experience a pleasant breeze that resonates with the sound of the wind singing through the trees, hence giving Dainkund the alternative name of the 'Singing Hill'. The route to Dainkund is picturesque, filled with lush greenery and alpine flowers. During winters, the peak is blanketed by snow, offering a different kind of vista entirely. The trek to the peak is relatively easy and is a popular activity among tourists.
