This day after breakfast visit the famous Solang Valley. In Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. SolangValley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organized in Solang Valley. Skiing and Paragliding are two main activities are organized here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc by own. This day after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Manali. Visit Hadimba Temple, VashisthKund. Hadimba temple, Also known as the Doongri Temple, is a four-tiered pagoda-like wooden temple standing in Deodar trees and has beautiful carvings on its ornamental door. Dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhim. Dalai Lama Temple Complex: Dharamsala is located at the foothills of Dhauladhar with a magnificent view of snowy peaks, lush beautiful hills, deodar and pine forests and tea gardens. The Dalai Lama temple complex, at a walking distance from the McLeod Ganj bus stand in upper Dharamsala is on Temple Road. Across the Dalai Lama Temple courtyard visitors can find Namgyal Monastery. The Namgyal monastery is the private monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. No visitors are allowed to enter the temple premises. It is strictly open to Dalai Lama and his students. The temple complex is kept open from sunrise to sunset for the visitors to explore the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings. During the morning hours visitors can participate in the prayers as the monks chant and meditate. You can join local residents for a meditative walk around the temple/monastery complex. Along the way, you will see many prayer flags and 'mani' stones. Bhagsu Nag Temple:Bhagsu nag Temple is one of the popular ancient temples, which is located at about 3 km east of the main city of McLeodganj and around 11 km from Dharamshala. It is surrounded by the famous Bhagsu Falls and is considered to be a popular place of Hindu pilgrimage. An annual fair is conducted in the month of September at this temple which attracts tourist from across the globe. Dharamshala Cricket Stadium: Dharamshala Cricket Stadium (DCS), an internationally renowned stadium, is the home ground of Himachal Pradesh State cricket team. It is considered to be one of the most attractive cricket stadiums of India due to its natural backdrop. Few international and Ranji cricket matches are held here on annual basis. From this cricket stadium, travellers can view the beautiful snow capped mountains of Dhauladhar mountain range.
