The Legend of the Three Princes
According to a popular legend, Sonmarg was once ruled by a wise king who had three sons, each known for their unique abilities. The first prince possessed incredible strength, the second prince had exceptional intelligence, and the third prince had unmatched beauty. The king was faced with a dilemma when he needed to choose an heir to the throne, as all three princes were deserving.
He decided to test his sons and assigned them different tasks. The first prince was asked to move a massive boulder, the second prince had to solve a complex puzzle, and the third prince was given the challenge of winning the heart of the most beautiful princess in the neighboring kingdom.
The first prince, using his strength, managed to move the boulder slightly but failed to completely dislodge it. The second prince, with his intelligence, struggled with the puzzle but eventually solved it. However, it was the third prince who triumphed in the end. His charm and kind heart won over the princess, and they fell deeply in love.
Impressed by his youngest son's achievement, the king named him the rightful heir to the throne. Sonmarg, the place where this tale unfolded, became a symbol of love, beauty, and harmony.
