Day 1: Cochin - Munnar (140 kms / 04 hrs drive)

Arrive at Cochin and Proceed to Munnar. Being the largest tea-growing region in South India, Munnar is a beautiful hill-station located 1600 meters above the sea level. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make Munnar a favourite for travellers looking for relaxing holidays. On the way to your hotel, visit Cheyyappara waterfalls, a perfect feast for your eyes. Reach your hotel and check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and return back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Munnar

Enjoy your fresh breakfast in the mountains at the hotel. Proceed for a Munnar sightseeing tour to visit Eravikulam National Park. Spread over an area of 97 sq. km., this park is also home to several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds. In the afternoon, discover the amazing Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Dam with a boating experience enabling you to enjoy the landscape in a leisurely way. You will also visit the Eco point which is located close-by. Get closer to this tea-plantation town by visiting the Tata Tea Museum which reveals the origins and evolution of tea-plantation in this region. Return back to the hotel in the evening for a leisure time and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady (110 kms / 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. Transfer to hotel & relax. Afternoon, proceed for sightseeing The Periyar wildlife sanctuary is thick evergreen forest, declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park. Day 4: Thekkady- Alleppey Houseboat
