Alappuzha Beach, also known as Alleppey Beach, is situated in the Alleppey district, which is one of the most prominent tourist spots in the state of Kerala, India. The beach is famous for its vast, sandy stretches, the iconic 150-year-old Alappuzha Lighthouse, and its proximity to the backwaters, which are often referred to as the 'Venice of the East.' Visitors to Alappuzha Beach can indulge in relaxing sunbaths, take part in thrilling water sports, or simply enjoy the serene beauty of the Arabian Sea. The remnants of Alappuzha Sea Bridge, once a bustling port and trading centre, add a touch of historical significance to the location. The beach's infrastructure is well-developed, offering tourists amenities such as picnic spots, parks, and toilets. Alleppey Beach
Alleppey Beach is a great spot for a quick evening visit and have fun at the beach. Enjoy some snacks and tea here and witness the sunset view. Mornings are cool with fewer people, so it's a good call..

Not very nice
S.H.I... You get the picture. Don't believe the wonderful, instagram-wortht pics. They are a lie. Directly behind the beach is an overpass, and an overpass in construction. Hardly a tranquil setting. ..

Great place!
Clean. Lifeguards present. Must see what’s left of an old pier. Shacks around for food and beverages. Some construction going on the main road.
