At a distance of 0.5 Kms from Kovalam Bus Stand, Eve's Beach, adjacent to Light House Beach is a charming white sand beach. It is one of the best beaches in Kovalam, among the popular tourist places in Kerala. This beach is located between Kovalam Main Beach and Light House Beach. It was the first topless beach in India. Top free bathing is banned now except in private owned resorts. The sunset in its entire splendor can be viewed from this beach. At a distance of 1.5 Kms from Kovalam Bus Stand, the Light House Beach is the largest of the three beaches of Kovalam. A 30 meter high light house is situated at the southern end of the beach, upon which the beach is named. Adjacent to Eve's Beach, this beach can be reached by foot from Eve's Beach. Tourists are not allowed inside the Light House. Tourists can climb the hillock on which the light house is located, for a spectacular view of the Sunset. There are several resorts of all ranges located close to the beach for accommodation. The light house hillock is full of coconut trees. This is the most active of all the beaches in Kovalam. Water sports like swimming, para cycling, para gliding are available at this beach.
