5 Nights 6 Days Alleppey Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: KOCHI
Pick up from Airport / Ernakulum Railway Station and transfer to the destination. Arrive in Cochin and Check in to Hotel. The commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Cochin is also known as Queen of Arabian Sea. It has one of the finest natural harbours in the World. This was one of the major centres for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch etc. Places to Visit : Dutch Palace, (except Friday) Jewish Synagogue, (except Friday & Saturday) Jewish Street, St. Francis Church (except Sunday) and Chinese Fishing Nets
Day 2: MUNNAR
After breakfast go for a Munnar tour. Overnight at Munnar. Activities: Visit Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here *. Visit Rajamala, home of the highly endangered mountain goat called the Neelgiri Thars*. Due to breeding season of the Nilgiri Thar, the sanctuary will be closed from Feb 1st to Apr 30th, 2016.
Day 3: ALLEPEY
Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey and check into the houseboat. Overnight at Houseboat. Description: Houseboats are huge, slow moving exotic boats used for leisure trips. They are the remodeled version of kettuvallams of olden times which were used to carry tons of rice and spices. The present day house boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters. The houseboat check in time is 12 noon and the cruise and stay will be for 20 hours. During the cruise you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. The menu in the houseboat is fixed with different fixed menu options for Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians.
Day 4: KOVALAM
Morning after breakfast proceed to Kovalam and check into the hotel. Overnight at Kovalam. Activities: Visit to Kovalam beach in the evening.
Day 5: KOVALAM
Morning after breakfast proceed for a tour of Trivandrum. Spend the evening back at the Kovalam beach. Overnight at Kovalam. Activities: Visit Napier Museum Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple Trivandrum Zoo
Day 6: Trivandrum Airport
Morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum. If time permits go for a city tour/ shopping. Then proceed to Trivandrum International Airport for return journey.
