Day 1: Dalhousie Local Sightseeing

Start the day by visiting the Dainkund Peak. Located near an air-force base, this peak gives you spectacular views of the himalayas. There is a temple located here which allegedly keeps away spirits from the peak. To reach the Dainkund peak, you need to trek a bit. If you take a cab, you will be dropped at an air-force base. From here, it is straight up in the whistling woods. However, the trek is not that difficult. A stroll in the woods will help you reach the peak. Dainkund peak in Dalhousie is a must visit. It is located at a distance of 15 kms from the town. Return back from the trek and spend some time lazing around in the Dalhousie town. As you explore the town, you can visit St Patrick’s church. This is a very artistic church and extremely serene. There is something special about churches nestled in the hills. Once you have worshipped the almighty, light a candle and return back to your hotel as the cool breeze soothes your senses and caresses your hair.

Day 2: Dalhousie-Khajjiar

start early morning and reach Khajjiar. Located at a distance of 23 KMs from Dalhousie, Khajjiar is called the switzerland of India. However, that is more of an exaggeration. But, that does not make this place average. Khajjiar provides you spectacular views of sun-kissed, stalwart, deodar trees. Day 3: dharamshala-Sightseeing at Macleod Ganj

Get started with a refreshing breakfast and get ready for the day to enjoy the gorgeousness of Mcleodganj. Head to Tibetan Museum that houses several exhibits and photographs highlighting the vivid history and culture of Tibet. Visit the waterfall and jump your way to Bhangsu Waterfall. Just 2 kilometers away from Mcleodganj, you can hire an autorickshaw or taxi to reach the village of Bhangsunath. Witness the splendid sight of the waterfall cascading down the rocks from about 30 feet. Located nearby is the Shiva Temple that makes this little village famous, and attracts hundreds of tourists. Your last stop is at Tsechokling Gompa and take a dive into the religious spirit of the beautiful figurine and the transcending splendor of the Dhauladhars, in the shadow of which the monument is situated. Return to the hotel for you overnight stay.

Day 4: Dharmshala-Historical Delight of Kangra

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning and get ready for the exploration of the Kangra valley. Visit the Kangra Fort known to be the largest fort in the Himalayas and probably the oldest one in the country, On your way to Masroor Rock-cut Temple and Jawali Ji Temple. The Masroor Rock-cut Temple is dedicated to Goddess Sita, Lord Rama, and Lord Laxman. Enjoy the picturesque view of the Kaveri Lake nestled between the green pastures and snow-clad peaks awaits you. Last but not the least feel the thrill while paragliding at Bir-Billing and fly over the majestic Dhauladhar Range on one side and the spectacular Kangra Valley on the other. Head back to the hotel after this thrilling activity and head back to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Dharamshala - Shimla
