Bir Billing Tourism

Bir is a small town located in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is famed for being a hub for ecotourism, spiritual studies, and meditation. Bir is also world-renowned for hosting some of the best paragliding conditions. The launch site is referred to as Billing, which is 14 km north of Bir, and the landing area is in the fields at the western edge of Bir. Together, this area is known as Bir Billing. The surrounding region is inhabited by people of diverse cultures, including Tibetan refugees, and offers tourists a rich tapestry of cultural experiences. The landscapes here are lush with verdant forests and framed by the majestic peaks of the Dhauladhar Range. Travelers can explore the Buddhist monasteries, trek in the trails of Himachal, revel in the paragliding and hang gliding activities, or simply relax in the peaceful atmosphere.
