Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level, 130 kms from Cochin (4 hrs 30 minutes drive). On the way visit cheeyappara and vallara waterfalls. On arrival here, check into the Resort. Rest of the day free for leisure at resort or optionally you can go for kathakali show , kalaripayittu show, ayurveda massage, elephant ride , walk in to tea plantation etc… and over night stay at resort.

This days sightseeing can including visit to Mattupetty for boating, Kundala dam, Eco-point, shooting point ,Blossom park, Hydel park , tea museum etc. etc Munnar, once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Govt. in South India, is located at the confluence of 03 rivers as the very name signifies. After the breakfast by 09.00 am ,check out from the resort and proceed to the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady (Munnar – Thekkady : 110 km/3 hour’s drive) and check in at the Resort. Evening cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a number of unique birds. Later, return to the hotel; relax & enjoy your stay overnight.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Houseboat embarkation point Alleppey 170 km / 04.30 hour’s drive.
