6 Nights 7 Days Thekkady Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Cochin
Pickup from Cochin Airport or Railway station and proceed to Cochin, Check in at the Hotel, visit, St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Then evening Spend at marine drive. Overnight, stay at Abad Plaza.
Day 2: Cochin to Munnar
After breakfast checkout from the resort and proceed to Munnar. Munnar, one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at a height of 1600 meters above sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. Enroot -Cheyyappara, Valara waterfalls and Karadipara View Point. Overnight, stay at Abad Copper Castle.
Day 3: Munnar Local
After breakfast sightseeing to visit a tea factory and tea museum, Mattupetty dam, Echo point,. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam (entry charges extra payment on your own). Overnight stay at Abad Copper Castle.
Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast checkout from resort and proceed to Thekkady, which is also known as Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Boating facility avalible at Thekkady(7.30am to 3 pm) Evening for shopping. Stay overnight at Abad Green forest.
Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey
After Breakfast check out from resort and proceed to Alleppey. Alleppey is famous for house boats in back water (Vembanadu Lake). Water locked place is endowed with immense natural beauty and array of rivers, canals and lakes ideal for boat cruise. On arrival check in to house boat (normal check in time is 12 noon), and will make backwater Cruise through coconut lagoons till 5.30 in the evening. Welcome drinks, lunch, tea snacks in the evening and dinner will be served from houseboat. (Premium Houseboat Air-condition will be working from evening 12 noon to morning 09:00 am.) Food served will be traditional Kerala food, overnight, stay on board the Houseboat.
Day 6: Alleppey to Marari
After breakfast checkout from House boat and proceed to Marari Check-in to the Resort. You can visit butterfly garden and organic vegetable Evening spend at the beach, Over Night Stay at Abad Turtle Beach.
Day 7: Departure
