5 Nights 6 Days Cochin Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cochin
On arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station, set out to view the magnificent sights of this city. Visit Fort Cochin Beach, Willingdon Island, Mattancherry Palace, Church of St. Francis and Paradesi Synagogue. Witness the huge Chinese fishing nets in action as it brings up a hefty catch from the canal.
Day 2: Cochin to Munnar (127 km/ 4 hrs)
After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar. Your drive takes you along lush forests, silvery waterfalls, tea and spice plantations and extensive rubber estates. In Munnar, visit Mattupetty Dam and Lake, Blossom Garden, Pallivasal/Pothamedu, Echo Point and Kundala Lake. Enjoy a splendid view from Rajamalai and explore Eravikulam National Park. Stroll along the vast tea estates before retiring to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
Tuck in to an Indian/Continental breakfast and set out to explore Munnar. You can visit places like Echo Point, Rajamalai, Eravikulam National Park (closed in February and March), Blossom Garden, Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. See the various flora and fauna that the region is famous for. Spend the day amidst the glory of Mother Nature and return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady (91 km/ 3 hrs)
After a delectable breakfast, drive to Thekkady. Cruise along Periyar Lake and see various animals like elephants, Nilgiri Langur, sambar deer, bison and a variety of birds, all in their natural habitat at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. You can also take part in optional activities (on a chargeable basis) like spice plantation tour, bamboo rafting, trekking and elephant ride. Stay overnight at the hotel/resort.
Day 5: Thekkady to Allepppey (138 km/ 4 hrs)
Enjoy an Indian/Continental breakfast, and drive to Alleppey. Check in at the hotel and relax for a while. The beach is a major picnic spot and the Vijaya Beach Park offers a lot of entertainment, especially for children. You can also visit the lighthouse and pier which extends into the sea. In the evening, explore the beach and market. Stay overnight in Alleppey.
Day 6: Departure from Cochin
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Cochin. You will be dropped at the airport/ railway station, for your onward journey.
