Kerala Folklore Museum, situated in Kochi (Cochin), Kerala, is a cultural hub that encapsulates the rich heritage and traditional art forms of the region. Established by George Thaliath, this architectural marvel is a three-storied building that blends Malabar, Cochin and Travancore styles, standing as a testament to the bygone era. Each floor of the museum is designed in a different architectural style showcasing various artifacts, representing folklore, anthropology, and architectural history. Visitors are greeted by a large Kalvilakku (stone lamp). The intricate wooden carvings and exceptional craftsmanship are prominent throughout the museum. It houses an impressive collection of costumes, masks, musical instruments, traditional jewellery, and sculptures, each narrating a unique story from Kerala's past.
