6 Nights 7 Days Leh Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Leh Airport and Explore Indus Valley:
Meet and greet on arrival at Leh airport. On this day you will go on a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries and most popular in this area Shey Gompa is about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh. There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17thcentury AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa. ThikseyGompa, close to Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspaorder. This Monastery is more than 500 year old. Sindhughard Darshan to the Holy Indus River. Amir Khan School Or 3 –Idiot shoot school. Shanti stupa and local market. Overnight in a Hotel in Leh City.
Day 2: Full day trip to Sham Valley:
Full day trip to Sham Valley. Visit Patharsaheb Gurudwara, confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers, Magnetic Hill. Enjoy the magnificent view of “Moonland - An undulating series of mountains that resemble the surface of the moonâ€. In the evening return back to Leh for overnight stay.
Day 3: Leh - Nubra Valley:
After early breakfast leave for Nubra valley (5-6 hrs) via Khardungla pass at 18,380 ft (World's highest motorable road). Reach Nubra valley by afternoon. You can enjoy Two hump camel safari on the World highest coldest desert (own expenses). Overnight stay in Deluxe Camp at Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Explore Nubra Valley:
Nubra valley is Known for its orchards, scenic vistas, Bactrian camels and monasteries; Nubra Valley is the northernmost part of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated about 150 km from Leh, Nubra Valley is known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which meant the valley of flowers. Overnight Stay in Super Deluxe Camps.
Day 5: Nubra Valley - Pangong.
Early morning visit the most picturesque Disket monastery on the hill top then drive to Pangong it takes around 5 hour to reach. Pangong lake is situated at 13,930 ft. About 4300 mts. Above sea level and is 125 km long, but it is only four km at its widest and extends almost in a straight line, way to Tibet; in fact, only a quarter of the lake is in India. Overnight stay In Deluxe Camp at Pangong Lake.
Day 6: Pangong - Leh
Enjoy sumptuous breakfast then you can enjoy a photo-session around the lake. Later drive back to leh via changla pass (5320m.) the second highest point of our journey. The landscape on the way to Leh is spectacular. Overnight stay in Hotel at Leh City
Day 7: Leh Airport Departure.
