4 Nights 5 Days Munnar Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin-Munnar (130 km/approx. 4 hour drive)
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, Pickup and then proceed on a drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar. Enroute, Visit Valara Waterfalls to Munnar. Arrive & check-in to the hotel. Visit tea plantations in the evening at Devikulam. Thereafter enjoy a comfortable overnight at your hotel.
Day 2: Munnar | Local sightseeing tour
After a hearty breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Echo Point, TATA Tea Museum , Old Munnar Town and the town market. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.(Eravikulam National Park is shut from 15 Jan to 15 Mar; during these dates Park visit cannot be done but all other sightseeing shall be provided as per itinerary).
Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady | Spice Plantation Tour & Periyar Lake (110 km/3.5 hours)
After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. En route visit Nedumkandam Chillies Spice Garden for a brief spice plantation tour. Arrive in Thekkady & check-in to your hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat ride (to be paid directly ) on Periyar Lake situated inside the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a confortable overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady - Kumarakom/Alleppey (156 km/ 4 hour drive)
After a sumptous breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Kumarakom/Alleppey and reach by afternoon. Check into the hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Or go for an hour-long evening boat cruise on the backwaters (on direct payment basis) After this, return to your hotel where you may opt for a traditional Ayurvedic Massage(on direct payment basis) or simply go to sleep after a delicious dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Allepey - Cochin (75 km/2 hours)
After a delicious breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Cochin and transfer to the airport/railway station for your onward journey. The tour concludes !!
