Indo Swiss Dairy Farm, also known as Mattupetty Dairy Farm, is nestled in the lush green hills of Munnar in Kerala, India. This highly specialized dairy farm is situated at around 1700 meters above sea level, approximately 13 kilometers away from Munnar town. The farm is known for its picturesque landscapes and is part of the Indo-Swiss Livestock Project, established in the early 1960s as a result of the collaboration between the Indian government and the Swiss government. The primary goal of the farm is to breed high-yielding cattle, and it's famed for its research and development in cattle farming. Over the years, the farm has become a significant attraction, drawing tourists due to its scenic beauty, wide array of livestock, and the serene atmosphere. Visitors cannot always access the farm directly due to its functioning as a research facility, but the surrounding areas offer plenty of sights and experiences, including the famous Mattupetty Dam nearby.

This Place Is Not Open For Tourist
Even though the sightings of the cows from a distance is great, but this is a guarded private property. The gates are not opened for tourist. You can only see from far.
