6 Nights 7 Days Munnar Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: cochin - munnar
On arrival at Cochin airport you will be met by our representative and proceed to Munnar. On the way you will travel through misty mountains and vast estates covered in tea plantations. You can stop at any point to take pictures and move according to your convenience. Upon arrival in Munnar you will check in to your pre booked hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 2: Munnar Full Day
Today morning you will set out for sightseeing of Munnar which includes the Rajamalai and Eravikulam National Park (you can spot the rare “Nilgiri Thar / Mountain goat†here). In the afternoon you can visit the Mattupetty Lake and dam followed by the Tea Museum which gives a beautiful history of Munnar since pre-independence era. (Tea Museum’s closing time is 4 PM and it remains closed on Mondays). In the evening you will return to hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar - Thekeddy
Today after your breakfast you will proceed to Thekkady also known as Periyar famous for the “Periyar National Park†and “Tiger Reserveâ€. On arrival you will check in to your hotel. Then proceed for Spice plantation where you can witness rare spice plants and how they are grown and produced. You can then visit the beautiful Periyar Lake surrounded by plush green forests. You can go for boating in the Periyar Lake (Optional). In the evening you will return to hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekeddy - Aleppey
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey. After check in at the Hotel and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater. It will be a unique and exclusive experience in your lifetime. You will be cruising along the village sides and paddy fields st frances church, alapuzzha beaches, etc .Dinner and Overnight stay at the Resort.
Day 5: Aleppey - Kovalam
After breakfast proceed to Kovalam. It is a beautiful beach destination located 15 Kms south of Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. It has three crescent shaped beaches out of which the “Lighthouse beach†is the most popular. On arrival you will check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 6: Kovalam - Kanyakumari
After breakfast, check out the resort and drive to Kanyakumari the southernmost tip of Indian sub continent also a fantastic tourist spot with the specialty as three major sea joints together there(Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal). It’s a holy place for Hindu Pilgrims too. On the way to Kanyakumari, you can visit Padmanabhapuram palace too as it’s the architecture wonder of Kerala with aesthetic & complicated wooden works. Reach Kanyakumari by noon and in the evening have a wonderful sunset from the Vivekananda rock situated in the sea. Evening Back to Kovalam Hotel. Overnight stay in Kovalam Hotel.
Day 7: kovalam - Trivandram Departure
Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Trivandrum Airport station on time to board the flight / train for your next destination.
