Day 1: Cochin arrival
Munnar Holidays representative will greet and transfer you at Kochi Airport. Then he transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Also termed as Queen of Arabian Sea, Kochi is a one of the most important tourist places in Kerala, God’s Own Country. You will see interesting tourist attractions like Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, etc. Overnight will be at Cochin.
Day 2: COCHIN TO MUNNAR- 140 kms / 4 hrs
Today after breakfast, Later drive to Munnar hills (130 Kms), the green Paradise of Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. On the way enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cheeyappara as well as Valara faterfalls and lush green tea meadows. Check in your hill resort and after noon at leisure/ you can go to visit Munnar town and nearby places & Overnight stay
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, go for sightseeing at Mattupetty Dam; a beautiful spot for viewing the picturesque Munnar, Kundala Lake- a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and having excellent view of Western Ghats as well as the forest surrounded with. Also visit Eco point and tea plantations along with the famous TATA Tea Museum, Blossom park, Hydel park etc.After noon you can visit Eravikulam National park; where the endangering Nilgiri Tahr is conserved and considered the highest hills of Munnar regions. Later drive back to your resort for Overnight stay.
Day 4: Munnar – Periyar (Thekkady) (120Kms 04Hrs Drive)
After cheerful breakfast at the hotel drive to Periyar (Thekkady).Enroute visit to Anayirangal Dam See the copious nature beauty, appealing mountain streams, spice plantations etc. on the way. On arrival at Periyar, check-in at your hotel. Freshen up and relax. visit to the Periyar Lake and explore Periyar wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. See diverse species of birds and animals making an amazing move while monkeys show their tricks to grab your attention. you can enjoy the Spice Plantation, Kathakali Show, Kalaripayattu Show, Ayurvedic body massage on your own.Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake,Jungle Jeep safari and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost Overnight will be at Thekkady
Day 5: Thekkady - Madhurai
After Breakfast check out from hotel. proceed to Madhurai. Madhurai is famous for temples. in that you visit Meenakshi Temple: This Temple is undoubtedly one of the best architectural masterpieces,Pudhu Mandapa,Thirumalai Nayak Palace,Vandiyur Mariamman,Thiruparankundram,Gandhi Memorial Museum,Azhagar Temple. back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: madhurai - rameshwaram
After breakfast, later proceed to rameshwaram. Rameshwaram, one of the Char Dhams, is blessed with many theerthams and a mesmerising scenic beauty. visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama. This is one of the seven places in India where pilgrims pray for salvation. The place is unique with 22 holy springs and the longest corridor in India. Our next visit is to the five faced Hanuman Temple. The temple also has a floating stone outside the temple exhibiting the famous stories from the Great Indian spic, Ramayana.check in to hotel Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: rameshwaram to kanyakumari
after breakfast, proceed for Kanyakumari. check in to the hotel. after that visit sightseeings of Kanyakumari like Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Memorial, Devi Kanya Kumari Temple & Sunset/Sunrise View. overnight stay at kanyakumari.
Day 8: Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Kovalam. enroute visit Trivandrum. Visit: The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple On arrival at Kovalam check into Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure on the beach at Kovalam enjoy the scene of Arabian waves embracing virgin sands inKerala -Gods own country. Overnight stay at Hotel Kovalam.
Day 9: Kovalam - Alleppey
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Alleppey (160 kms / 4 – 4.30 hrs) the backwater destinations of Kerala. Arrive and check in to Houseboat which is also called as Kettuvallom (the boat will ready around 1200 hrs) and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. Your houseboat has bedrooms with attached toilet, a dining area cum sit out. There will be 3 accompanying staff in the boat. One driver, one helper and one cook. Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast will be cooked and served on board by the accompanying cook. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 10: alleppey - cochin drop
After breakfast check out from houseboat and representative will transfer you to cochin Airport or Railway Station in time to board flight for your next destination.
