Atsuta Shrine, known as Atsuta Jingu in Japanese, is one of the most significant Shinto shrines in Japan and a major religious and historical landmark located in the city of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. It is dedicated to the veneration of the sun goddess Amaterasu and enshrines the sacred sword Kusanagi, which is one of the three imperial regalia of Japan.
