Telangana is a state in the southern part of India. It was officially formed on June 2, 2014, after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, making it the youngest state in India. Hyderabad, which is a major center for the technology industry, serves as the capital and largest city of Telangana and is known for its rich history, culture, and architecture significant to the iconic Charminar and the fort of Golconda. Telangana is spread over an area of 112,077 square kilometers and is bordered by Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh to the north, Karnataka to the west, and Andhra Pradesh to the east and south.
