The Golden Bridge, also known as Zolotoy Most, is a cable-stayed bridge in Vladivostok, Russia. It is a significant part of the city's infrastructure, connecting the main part of Vladivostok with the areas across the Golden Horn Bay. Opened in 2012 ahead of the APEC summit, the bridge spans 1.388 kilometers and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city and the bay. It has become one of the iconic symbols of Vladivostok and is particularly stunning when illuminated at night. The Golden Bridge has two levels: the upper level for cars and the lower level intended for the movement of trains. However, currently, only the upper level is in operation. The bridge's design allows it to withstand extreme weather conditions, which is crucial given Vladivostok's variable climate. Its construction has greatly reduced traffic congestion in the city and has served as a catalyst for economic development in the region. The Golden Bridge is not only a transportation artery but also a tourist attraction, drawing visitors to admire its engineering marvel and the vistas it provides.
