The Krasnaya Rechka (also known as Kenkol or Shyngyrak) Archaeological Site is a notable historical and archaeological landmark situated near the city of Tokmok in the Chuy Valley, Kyrgyzstan. It is recognized for its significant remains which are believed to be of the medieval city of Navikat. The site encompasses an array of historical traces from different periods ranging from the 5th to the 12th centuries. Krasnaya Rechka showcases remnants of ancient Buddhist temples, which indicate the diverse religious influences in the region, including Buddhist, Nestorian Christian, and Islamic. Additionally, the site holds remnants of what is thought to be a Nestorian monastery, attesting to the intersection of cultures on the Silk Road.
