People's Park in the Sky, often referred to as simply 'People's Park', is an urban park located in the city of Tagaytay in the Philippines. Positioned at the highest point of Tagaytay, it sits on top of Mount Gonzales and was originally constructed from an unfinished mansion known as the 'Palace in the Sky' built during the Marcos era. It was intended to be the guest house of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, but the palace was left unfinished after the president's visit to the country was canceled. The park offers panoramic views of the Taal Volcano, Taal Lake, and the surrounding lush landscapes. Visitors can find remnants of the mansion's old structure, a shrine for Our Lady Mother of Peace, souvenir shops, food stalls, and small gardens. The park can be reached via a long winding road, and the chilly weather complements the scenic journey. It is a popular spot for sightseeing, picnics, and photography, known for its refreshing atmosphere and stunning high-altitude views.
