The Scientific Center Tourism

The Scientific Center of Kuwait, located in Salmiya, Kuwait, is a cultural achievement and educational facility which aims to influence the youth and all family members to learn about technology and the environment in an entertaining way. Spreading over an area of 80,000 square meters and established as a gift from the late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to the people of Kuwait, it is one of the most prominent scientific landmarks in the country. The Center overlooks the waterfront and includes an Aquarium, Discovery Place, and IMAX Cinema. The Aquarium showcases marine life from the Gulf region, including sharks, rays, and coral reefs. The Discovery Place is a hands-on science center designed for children, with interactive displays and activities that encourage exploration and learning about various scientific principles. The IMAX Cinema offers educational and entertaining films on a massive screen, providing an immersive experience. The architecture of the building is inspired by the old mud houses of Kuwait, blending traditional design with modern elements, making it an extraordinary fusion of past and present.
