Yehliu Geopark is a popular attraction located on the north coast of Taiwan in the town of Wanli, nestled between Taipei and Keelung. This natural wonder spans about 1.7 kilometers into the ocean and is renowned for its unique geological formations including the iconic 'Queen's Head', which is an eroded rock that resembles a human head. The park is home to a number of fascinating rock structures, created by the relentless forces of erosion. Visitors can explore the three distinct sections of the park, which include the first, second, and third areas, each offering a variety of shapes and formations, like mushrooms, ginger rocks, and candlesticks. The Geopark is not only a testament to the power of nature but also a great spot for photography, educational tours, and sightseeing. The erosive forces of wind, water, and geological movements have sculpted the landscape into an outdoor museum of geology and earth science. The area is also known for its rich biodiversity, with numerous species of plants and birds to observe.
