6 Nights 7 Days Kovalam Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin arrival - munnar
OMeet our tour representative at Cochin, who will help you with a hassle-free transfer to your hotel. Munnar (140 Kms / 4 hrs) the lovely hill station, filled with tea plantations and misty mountains. The drive to Munnar is very scenic crossing the narrow hairpin roads where you see beautiful valleys, tea gardens and small waterfalls on the way. Vallera & Kallar waterfalls. Sightseeing includes Pothenmedu viewpoint. Check into hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 2: Munnar sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to Munnar, on the way visit tea and spice plantations, Cheeyappara waterfalls, view point etc. Arrive Munnar and check in your hotel. Rest of the day free for your own activities. Mattupetty Dam, Echo point, kundala dam, Rajamalai – where we have ERAVIKULAM National Park, you could find NILGIRI THAR, an endangered species, Tea museum. Overnight at hotel in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. Transfer to hotel & relax. Afternoon, Proceed for sightseeing –The Periyar wildlife sanctuary is thick evergreen forest, declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. You can also do things in Thekkady like - Boat cruises on the Periyar Lake, visit cardamom, pepper, tea & coffee plantation.• Visit to Periyar National Park (Boating is Optional) • Kathakali, Kalaripayattu (Martial Arts) and Elephant ride are optional Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Thekkady - Houseboat
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Alleppey, check into a houseboat, and enjoy & experience the full day backwater life. The cruise will cover the canals & village area also. Lunch, evening tea, dinner & breakfast will be serving at houseboat. The food is authentic Kerala cuisine. Overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 5: Alleppy to kovalam
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kovalam (180 km – 4 hours drive) on arrival check into the hotel. Sightseeing includes light house beach, Howah Beach, Ashoka beach. Kovalam beaches has lovely coconut palms fringe the golden sand etc….(based on the time you spent on beaches). Overnight stay at Kovalam and other sightseeing. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 6: Kovalam to cochin
