8 Nights 9 Days Kovalam Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin Arrival
On arrival Cochin Airport/ Railway Station and meet our representative outside the Airport/Railway Station.overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Cochi-Munnar
On arrival Cochin Railway Station and meet our representative outside the Railway Station would receive you and Drive towards Munnar, one of the beautiful hill stations in Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, Spice plantations and a Variety of flora and fauna. Situated 16oom above sea level . on the way visit cheyyappara waterfalls, Vallara Water Falls, and many view points. You can stop en-route for romantic photo sessions too. Reach Munnar and Check in to the hotel, rest and relax. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar-Munnar
After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing which includes Photo point, Eravikulam National park; where the endangering Nilgiri Tahr is conserved, Top Station ,Mattupetty Dam ? (Optional15 Minutes Boat Drive in this Dam), Echo point (The natural Echo phenomenon is always happening here), Shooting point (Famous point where normally film shooting takes place), Kundale Lake (A super dam where we can go for shikara boating in the dam), After lunch in munnar we visit Tea Museum [Monday Holiday] (A place where u can see how they are processing tea),Tea Plantations, Visit Blossom Park, Pothenmedu View Point. Later Back to the Hotel Rest and relax Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Munnar-Thekkady
Proceed to Thekkady after having your breakfast, our cab pilot will guide you towards Thekkady’s well-known TEA and CARDAMON plantations and many other attractions. Thekkady’s beauty lies in the lap of PERIYAR LAKE especially PERIYAR WILD LIFE SANTUARY ( www.periyarfoundation.org), (our advised timings 1:45pm or 3:30pm on that same day or next day morning 7:30am), Thekkady's next activities includes Kadhakali and Kalaripayattu (ancient martial art forms)and elephant safari, drive back to hotel/resort for overnight stay
Day 5: Thekkady-Alleppey Houseboat
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and Proceed to Alleppey also known as Venice of the east .Board the Houseboat which will sail through the backwaters of Alleppey. Houseboat will cruise from 12 noon till sun-set (around 5.30 pm) with one hour stop for serving lunch. Morning cruise will be from 8am to 9am. The Boat will anchored as per govt. rule for the villagers to cast their net in the lake for fishing. Enjoy the Houseboat Cruise, Lunch -evening tea/coffee snacks-Dinner on board Overnight stay in Houseboat. Houseboat check in time is 12 noon and check out is 09 am and a/c will be operational only on sleeping hour that is 09 pm to 06 am only. For Full time a/c there will be extra charges.
Day 6: Alleppey-Kumarakom
Check out your hotel & drive towards Kumarakom (165 Kms), the Icon of Kerala’s tourism prosperity. Today, Kumarakom is world’s best known back water destination and recognized by many international tourism organizations and travel magazines. It has also ranked above Taj Mahal in a latest statistics. Check in your back water resort and have leisure on rest of the day. If interested, visit Kumarakom bird Sanctuary located on the shore of Vembanadu lake. Overnight stay
Day 7: Kumarakom-Kovalam
After breakfast check out from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam. On arrival check into the hotel later Today start your drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check into a hotel and rest awhile. Later, set out to enjoy some beach activities at the Kovalam Beach. Stay overnight at the hotel. A delightful beach town located 16 km away from Thiruvananthapuram, Kovalam attracts a fair share of tourists from around the world. With its beautiful beaches and wonderful ambience, Kovalam simply delights every visitor.
Day 8: Kovalam-Kovalam
Morning After a refreshing breakfast drive to Kanyakumari (100 K.M / 2 Hrs)., Kanyakumari is located at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent and represents the site where the spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation upon a rock off of the coast. Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhidham and Trivenisagam are some of the sightseeing attractions in Kanyakumari. Enjoy the sunset in the evening and overnight stay is arranged at the kovalam hotel.
Day 9: Kovalam-Trivandrum
After breakfast check out from Hotel proceed for Trivandrum airport/railway station with lovely memories of Kerala holidays. Trip Ends
