8 Nights 9 Days Kovalam Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVAL AT COCHIN
After arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station, one of our representative will be there to assist you to transfer to Hotel. The trip starts with the famous Chinese Fishing Net, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Jews Street etc.
Day 2: COCHIN SIGHT SEEN
Have Breakfast then visit Marine Drive, Menaka , Boat Jetty, Famous Cherai Beach etc
Day 3: COCHIN TO MUNNAR
Have breakfast and proceed to Munnar and check-in to the Hotel. You can go through the plantations of Cardamom and Tea for an evening walk, which will replenish you with the abundance of fresh and medicated air followed by a visit to the cardamom curing center.
Day 4: MUNNAR SIGHT SEEN
Have breakfast and one of our representative will assist you, to take you to Munnar for a whole day sightseeing. This sightseeing covers the Tea factory & Tea Museum, the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake and so… Afternoon visits the Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park situated 30 minutes away from Munnar town. The main attraction of this park is the ‘Nilgiri Tahr’- a rare species of mountain goats, protected here.
Day 5: THEKKADY
Have breakfast and move to Thekkady (Periyar), it is one of the most popular place for Wildlife Sanctuaries in South India. Arrive, check-in at the Hotel and take rest for a while. Now, you have an option to take a Motor Boat ride on the Periyar Lake to feel the Wildlife around the lake or go for sightseeing which includes discrete attractions like Hill Station, Wildlife Sanctuary and Spice Plantation. Later, get ready to get excited for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wild animals like Nilgiri Langur, Wild Bison, Elephants, Wild Boar, Sambar Deer, etc. and a number of unique birds can also be spotted. Day 6: ALLEPPY HOUSEBOAT STAY
Have breakfast and proceed to Alleppey to board on to the Houseboat. Houseboats are the modern forms of Kettuvallams which were used to carry rice. You will have lunch on the Houseboat and then cruise through the narrow canals of the Vembanad Lake. After dark you can enjoy a delicious dinner with the sound of water lapping by the side of the boat.
Day 7: Kovalam

Kuthiramalika Palace Museum: Built in Puthen Malika Palace, Kuthiramalika Palace is one of the fine examples of architecture of Kerala. The museum hosts a rare collection of mannequins, paintings, mirrors, chandeliers, furniture and other items. The royal thrones in ivory and Bohemian Crystal makes for few of the most attractive pieces of art in the museum. One can also view the Gopuram of renowned Padmabhaswamy temple from here. Napier Museum: Named after a governor (Lord Francis Napier) of British India, Napier Museum has a marveling natural system to air condition bearing the testimony to the technological progress of that period. The museum also houses one of the oldest zoological gardens in the world. Priyadarshini Planetarium: This planetarium is amusing the visitors with its special shows on universe ever since 1994. The planetarium offers a view of night sky at any given time and of any desired place in past and in future within a time span of 12500 years. With a seating capacity of 184 people, the museum is an equal favorite of children, adults and scholars of cosmology.
Day 9: Kanyakumari Day Excursion
drive to Kanyakumari. Enjoy sightseeing of the following places: GandhiMemorial Hall: This striking memorial has been built on the spot where the urn containing Mahatma’s ashes was kept for public viewing before immersion. It resembles an Orissan temple and was designed so that on Gandhiji birthday (2nd October), the suns rays fall on the place where his ashes were kept. Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial: This grand memorial to the great Indian Philosopher Swami Vivekananda is on one of the twin rocks jutting out from the sea about 200 metres offshore. Thiruvalluvar Statue: Thiruvalluvar is the immortal poet of Tamil Nadu and has givento the world Thirukkural. The memorial statue of Thiruvalluvar is in Kanyakumari.
