7 Nights 8 Days Sonmarg Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Srinagar & Transfer to Sonmarg
Our representative will receive you at Srinagar airport/Bus stand. From there, you would be travelling all the way to Sonmarg. Sonmarg resides at one of the most picturesque locations in Jammu and Kashmir, and drive from Srinagar to the hill station is indeed a beautiful one. As you arrive, you would be checking in to the prebooked hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Sonmarg/ Baltal – Amaranth – Baltal/Sonmarg (32 Kms trek from Baltal- to & fro)
Wake up early in the morning and head to Amarnath cave shrine (3953 m). Amarnath cave is one of the holiest Hindu shrines, where pilgrims in huge numbers make their visit. It is usually done on a full moon day. From Baltal, you would be heading on a 4 hour walk to the Amarnath cave. Post your Darshan at Amarnath, return to your base camp at Baltal. You can choose to stay overnight in Baltal or drive back to hotel in Sonamarg (15 Km from Baltal)
Day 3: Baltal/Sonamarg - Srinagar
From Baltal/Sonamarg, you would be transferred to Srinagar. As you reach, you would be transferred to houseboat. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can choose to spend your evening enjoying Shikara ride on the spectacular Dal lake. Post that, return back to the houseboat for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Srinagar local sightseeing
This morning after breakfast Enjoy a city tour of Srinagar visiting the famous Mughal Gardens on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Bagh (Abodeof pleasure), built in 1632 AD, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his wife empress Noor Jehan, & Tulip garden. Pari Mahal and Shankracharya Temple. Have your dinner and night stay at Srinagar hotel.
Day 5: Srinagar- Gulmarg- Srinagar
Today morning after breakfast leave for same day excursion trip to Gulmarg. Gulmarg: At an altitude of 2730 Meters. The name means Meadows of Flowers and in spring it's just that. Also known as India's premier skiing resort & Golf course. Enjoy Cable car ride known as GANDOLA which goes up to Khilanmarg /affarwat (ON OWN COST). One can have panoramic view of snow clad mountain. Dinner and night stay at Srinagar hotel
Day 6: Srinagar - Pahalgam
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction. you can visit many breath taking palace like Beetab Valley, Chandanwari (ON OWN COST). Dinner and night stay at Pahalgam hotel.
Day 7: Pahalgam- Srinagar
This morning after breakfast enjoy your time in Pahalgam. Later drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and night stay at Srinagar hotel.
Day 8: Srinagar airport drop
Today After breakfast, leave for Srinagar airport with beautiful memories.
