Take a train to James Street Station if you’re coming from within Liverpool or nearby areas. It's the nearest station to Albert Dock and just a short walk away. From the station, head west on Strand Street, turn left at the Albert Dock entrance, and you'll find yourself right in the midst of the historic waterfront.

Buses run regularly to Albert Dock. Look for services that stop at Liverpool ONE bus station, which is just a 5-minute walk away. You can also disembark at the Queen Square bus station, which is a little further away but still within walking distance.
If you're arriving from further afield, Liverpool John Lennon Airport is approximately 9 miles from Albert Dock. From the airport, you can take a taxi directly to Albert Dock.
