Best Time To Visit Ambika Devi Mandir (Ambala) In 2026 - 2027

Ambika Devi Mandir is a revered Hindu temple located in Ambala, Haryana, India, dedicated to goddess Ambika Devi. The best time to visit this temple is during the cooler months of the year, which are from October to March. During this period, the climate is particularly pleasant, with the temperatures ranging from a comfortable 15°C to 25°C (approximately 59°F to 77°F). This is conducive for sightseeing and allows devotees to partake in temple activities without the discomfort of the intense heat that the Indian summers are known for. The temple's serene ambiance is further enhanced by the moderate weather, making it an ideal time for visitors to engage in prayer and attend the various religious ceremonies that take place.

Additionally, Navratri — a significant nine-day festival dedicated to the worship of the goddess Durga, of which Ambika Devi is an incarnation — is an excellent time to visit the temple. This auspicious festival generally falls twice a year, during the lunar months of Ashvin (usually in September or October) and Chaitra (around March or April), according to the Hindu calendar. During Navratri, the temple comes alive with special poojas, rituals, and cultural programs, attracting pilgrims and tourists alike. Visiting during this time allows one to experience the temple in its full vibrancy and spiritual fervor. However, it's worth noting that the temple will also be more crowded during the festival, so plan your visit accordingly if you prefer a quieter experience.
