Ascension Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Ascension, is a stunning example of Russian Orthodox architecture located in the heart of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the cathedral was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church and reconsecrated.
