Bayanaul National Park is situated in the Pavlodar Region of Kazakhstan and was established in 1985, being one of the first national parks in the country. The park boasts three picturesque lakes: Lake Sabyndykol, Lake Jasybay, and Lake Toraigyr, ideal for swimming and relaxation. Bayanaul Mountains are the park's geological marvels, known for their peculiar rock formations and dense woodlands that contrast with the surrounding steppe. The area is steeped in local legend and folklore, particularly surrounding the Jasybay Lake, named after a legendary Kazakh batyr (warrior). This national park is not just a natural haven but also a cultural treasure, preserving the way of life of the Kazakh people. Visitors can explore historical sites, ancient petroglyphs, and practice eco-tourism activities such as hiking, fishing, and camping while observing a variety of flora and fauna.
