The Bugrinsky Bridge is a significant landmark in Novosibirsk, Russia. Spanning the majestic Ob River, this bridge serves both as a practical route for vehicles and pedestrians, as well as a scenic viewpoint for residents and tourists alike. Completed in October 2014, it is one of the longest bridges in Siberia and an architectural marvel characterized by its asymmetrical cable-stayed design. The bridge was named after the Bugrinskaya grove, a historic region nearby. The engineering feat includes a main span of 380 meters, which facilitates uninterrupted river navigation. It connects the densely populated areas of Oktyabrsky and Leninsky districts, thus easing traffic congestion in the city. With a total length of about 2092 meters and the width of the carriageway being 21 meters, the Bugrinsky Bridge is designed to withstand harsh Siberian weather conditions. At night, the bridge is illuminated by LED lights, making it a stunning visual fixture against the Novosibirsk skyline. It has become an iconic symbol of the city, celebrated for its contribution to the region's infrastructure and its impressive architecture.
