The nearest train station to Canterbury Roman Museum is Canterbury East. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station to the museum. As you exit the station, turn right onto Station Road East, then proceed towards the city center. Turn left onto Watling Street, and then take the first right onto Butchery Lane, where you will find the museum.
Alternatively, Canterbury West station is also within walking distance, taking approximately 15 minutes. Exit the station, head southeast on Station Road West, and continue straight onto St. Dunstan's Street. Walk towards the city center, and follow the pedestrian signs directing you to the museum.
There are several bus lines that run through Canterbury with stops near the museum. Look for the closest bus stop nearby High Street or St. George's Lane, all within a short walk to Butchery Lane.
Parking in Canterbury is available at several public car parks. The closest ones are Whitefriars multi-storey car park and Watling Street car park. Do note that Canterbury is a busy city and parking can be limited, so public transportation is recommended.
