From Istanbul: You can take a domestic flight from either Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) to Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV) which is the closest airport to Cappadocia. Airlines such as Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines offer daily flights to Nevşehir.
From the Airport to Derinkuyu: Once you arrive at Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport, you can take a taxi, rent a car, or use a shuttle service to reach Derinkuyu Underground City, which is approximately 40 kilometers away. The drive takes around 40 minutes to an hour.
From Nevşehir: If you are staying in Nevşehir, you can either rent a car or take a local bus to Derinkuyu. The journey by car takes around 30 minutes. Local buses to Derinkuyu are available but may take longer and might not have direct routes.
