Dolat Abad Garden, located in Yazd, Iran, is a historical Persian garden and a masterpiece of Iranian architecture and landscaping. Spanning about 70,000 square meters, this garden is renowned for its tall windcatcher, standing over 33 meters high, which is among the tallest in the world. Constructed in 1750, Dolat Abad Garden was built by the ruler of Yazd, Mohammad Taqi Khan. The garden exemplifies the traditional Persian elements of water and greenery amidst an arid environment, providing a cool haven. It is laid out according to the classic charbagh pattern, with water channels and fountains enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The interior decorations, stained glass windows, and intricate latticework create a play of light and color. This site was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list as part of the Persian Gardens in 2011, recognized for its exceptional design and engineering.
