Best Time To Visit Dolat Abad Garden (Yazd) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Dolat Abad Garden in Yazd, Iran

Dolat Abad Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the most famous historical Persian gardens located in Yazd, Iran. If you're planning a visit for the best experience, timing is essential. The most recommended time to visit Dolat Abad Garden is during the spring season, which runs from late March to early May. During this period, the weather is mild, and the temperatures are pleasant, making it perfect for strolling through the gardens and enjoying the lush greenery and vibrant floral displays. Spring also sees the garden come to life after the winter, with plants and trees in full bloom adding to the beauty of the environment.

Another favorable time to visit is during the autumn months, from late September to early November. During this time, the extreme heat of the summer sun has subsided, and visitors can enjoy the cooler climate and the changing colors of the foliage, which create a picturesque setting. However, it is worth noting that the Yazd region can be quite warm even during these months, so it is advisable to dress appropriately and stay hydrated. Additionally, visiting in the morning or late afternoon can help avoid the peak midday sun. Keep in mind that visiting during the Nowruz (Iranian New Year) celebrations in late March can be a unique cultural experience, but also expect larger crowds of both locals and tourists.
