Highland Park, also known as 'Dagustu Park' (Upland Park), is one of the most picturesque parks located in Baku, Azerbaijan. Perched on a hill, it offers a panoramic view of Baku city and its waterfront. The park is a popular spot among both locals and tourists due to its lush greenery, well-maintained paths, and the tranquility it provides in the midst of a bustling city. Visitors can stroll along the pathways, sit on bench to enjoy the scenic views, or visit the Martyrs' Lane, adjacent to the park, which is a memorial dedicated to those killed by Soviet troops during Black January and later to those killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh War. The park is beautifully lit in the evening, making it a perfect spot for evening walks. Highland Park is also known for its modernist statues and the Flame Towers, a trio of skyscrapers, visible from the park. The park's elevation makes it an ideal vantage point for photographers looking to capture the essence of Baku's skyline.
