Jalori Pass, situated at an altitude of approximately 3,120 meters (10,235 feet) above sea level, is an enthralling high mountain pass in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is one of the least explored areas in the Himalayan range that connects the Shimla and Kullu valleys with the Rampur and Rohru (in Shimla district). The pass remains covered with snow during winters and offers a serene, picturesque vista of snow-capped mountains and lush green forests. Jalori Pass is the nearest mountain pass from Delhi, approximately 600 kilometers away, and can be reached from the Tirthan Valley, which is a part of the Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This area is well known for its verdant meadows, thick alpine forests, and its striking panoramic view of the Himalayas. Adventure enthusiasts can engage in activities like trekking, mountain biking, and camping. One of the main attractions near Jalori Pass is the Serolsar Lake, which is about a 5 km trek from the pass.

Must do.
