About Kalinchowk Bhagwati Shrine

Kalinchowk Bhagwati Shrine is a well-known Hindu temple located atop the hills of Dolakha District at an altitude of approximately 3842 meters above sea level in Nepal. This sacred site is dedicated to the Goddess Kali and is a revered place of worship that attracts numerous pilgrims throughout the year, especially during the festivals of Dashain and Tihar. Pilgrims endure the challenging trek to seek blessings and to witness the panoramic views of the Himalayan range and the lush landscapes surrounding the shrine. The temple can be accessed via a long drive from Kathmandu to Charikot followed by either a trek or a cable car ride from Kuri village to the summit, where the temple sits. The area is also popular for its natural beauty, offering stunning vistas of the snow-capped peaks, including Gaurishankar Range, and is a delight for trekkers and adventure seekers. Accommodations are available at Kuri village for visitors who wish to stay overnight. The temple area becomes quite windy and chilly, thus requiring visitors to be well-prepared with warm clothing.

Roller Coaster Adventure in KALINCHOWK BHAGWATI SHRINE
Besides the natural beauty and the panoramic views seen from the shrine, talking about the management, it still needs improvements. Here are the things that I experienced during my recent bike ride to Kalinchowk. 1. Even during off season time, the cable car management system were unable to manage the queue as many people who came late were forcing ahead of the queue making the early comers wait even more. They need strict management on the bottom cable car station at Kalinchowk 2. While we reach as the top of the temple, there is one section of stair which is totally dangerous where if you slip, you might fall down from a tremendous height. Because of that, this upper shrine section might need a surveillance of security. The hotel we stayed at, HOTEL COUNTRY VILLA, was also amazing, I have left their phone number below: Beside these, I found everything good specially the view from the top of Kalinchowk is really really amazing and also the local people are really helpful.

Visit himalayan attraction
The most attractive place and i recommend you to visit there in winter. Kalinchowk, a perfect destination for a short trek in Nepal can be done within 3 days. It is a Village Development Committee VDC of Dolakha
