By Air

If you are coming from another country or far away within Turkey, your first step will be to fly into Konya Airport (KYA). From the airport, you can take advantage of various modes of transportation to reach the Karatay Madrasa.

• Airport Shuttle: Some hotels offer shuttle services directly from the airport. It’s best to inquire with your accommodation ahead of time.
• Taxi: Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. Ensure to agree on the fare before setting off or ask the driver to operate the meter.
• Car Rental: Rent a car from the airport if you prefer the flexibility to explore Konya at your own pace.

By Road

Konya is well-connected to other parts of Turkey by road. The Karatay Madrasa is located in the city center, making it accessible by various land transport options.

• Bus: The main bus station in Konya, Konya Otogarı, serves many intercity and local buses. Upon arrival, you can take a local bus, tram or taxi to reach the Madrasa.
• Driving: If you're driving, use navigation systems and follow signs to the city center where the Madrasa is located.
• Tram: Konya’s tram system is efficient and budget-friendly. Take the tram line that runs through the city center and alight at the stop nearest to the Madrasa.

By Train

Traveling by train is a scenic and relaxing way to get to Konya. Upon reaching the Konya Train Station, you can take a tram, taxi, or walk (if you are up for a bit of adventure) to the Karatay Madrasa.
