How to Reach Königstuhl Mountain

By Car: Königstuhl is accessible by car. You can drive to the top of the mountain where you will find parking facilities. Use a GPS and enter the destination as "Königstuhl, Heidelberg" for the best route.
By Public Transportation: From Heidelberg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take the bus number 30 towards Ziegelhausen, getting off at the 'Königstuhl' stop.
By Funnicular Railway: One of the most scenic routes is by the Heidelberg Mountain Railway (Heidelberger Bergbahn), which starts from Kornmarkt in the Old Town and goes all the way up to Königstuhl, with a stop at Heidelberg Castle. Please check the operational times as they vary seasonally.
